Paracord - don't go travelling without it. We always recommend to take about 10 metres as it gets used for everything from shoe laces to washing line, from hanging up a mosquito net to tying back your hair.
Available in three thicknesses, the thin one can be used with a darning needle for heavy duty repairs.
