Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our site and select any items that you wish to buy by clicking the 'Add to cart' button. Once you have all the goods you require, click on the "Go to checkout" button or "Checkout Now" button and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. A secure connection will then be made to the secure servers at Sec Pay which will process the credit card transaction in "real time". Most Credit card and Debit card payments are accepted. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order as normal and we will get back to you with an Overseas Delivery quote. Orders 2kg or under to EU countries are £9.00. Delivery InformationWe aim to despatch your order within 24 hours and if an unexpected delay occurs, we will contact you within 48 hours.This excludes weekends, where the order will be despatched on the following Monday. If there is an unexpected delay, we will instead contact you (via telephone or email) within the following 24 hours. Orders with Standard or Qualified Free Delivery shipped to UK destinations will take 3 to 4 working days. Express Delivery orders available to UK only and will take 1 to 2 working days. International orders may take up to 28 days to deliver. Nomad Travel Store cannot be held responsible for any non-delivery caused by courier or postal services. All Orders require a signature and ID upon receipt at delivery address. Postage and Packing. UK Delivery Charges- Standard Delivery: £3.50 – Despatch is aimed for within 24 hours (excluding weekend which will be despatched on the following Monday). If we are unable to despatch your order within 24 hours, we will then contact you via telephone or email within the same 48 hour period of an expected delivery date or alternative product suggestions.
- 2 working day delivery £7 in the UK only (no deliveries Sat/Sun/Bank Holiday Delivery). Subject to stock availability. If we are unable to despatch your order immediately we will contact you within 24 hours with an updated delivery time or alternative product suggestions.
- Free Delivery to orders over £75.00 - Despatch is aimed for within 24 hours (excluding weekend which will be despatched on the following Monday). If we are unable to despatch your order within 24 hours, we will then contact you via telephone or email within the same 48 hour period. If you have not received your order or had contact from us within 10 working days, please get in touch on 0845 260 0044. - Delivery charges outside of the UK: £9 2kg or under to EU countries or by quote for all other international deliveries. back to top of Delivery Information Tax ChargesAll orders are processed inclusive of 17.5% VAT. It is not possible to process VAT exclusions.
Credit Card SecurityWe know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 2048 bit encryption. The transaction that takes place uses encrypted "real time" credit card processes operated by Sec Pay on secure servers. Credit card numbers are not held in clear text on any web site.
GuaranteeWe guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with 1 year's no quibble guarantee, (except where goods have been used in jungle situations) unless otherwise stated, from the date of the original invoice against failure to provide reasonable wear owing to defective workmanship or materials. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. Please identify clearly the area or part that has failed. All items must be returned in a clean, dry condition, otherwise they may be returned to you without attention. Further advice is available by contacting our Mail Order Department during office hours. Exchange/returning goodsNomad Travel Store aim to offer you excellent quality, value and service at all times. If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it, please return the item(s) with a copy of your delivery note and original packing within 14 days. We will exchange or refund the cost of the item(s) where appropriate. All goods must be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt. If you wish to return any item due to it being faulty, please supply us the details of the fault and a copy of your delivery note stating the fault and send it back to us with the item and its original packaging, within 14 days. We will exchange the item or refund the full cost including any delivery charges incurred where appropriate. If you are in any doubt, please contact our Mail Order Department. We are here to help you. For your security please return items recorded delivery with insurance paid as a minimum.
